PCD refrigeration dryers (Chiller-Dryer), called “Point of Use Dryerare used in situations where a compressed air temperature equal to the Dew-Point value is required (Dew -Pointsuch as the moulding sector of plastics and foodstuffs, and sectors where it is not possible to use water for cooling.
In addition to the electronic controller (Industry 4.0 ready), the range features a single air-to-cooler (or evaporator) heat exchange circuit. The incoming warm and humid air exchanges heat with the refrigerant fluid counter-current flow, undergoing an abrupt temperature drop. Before leaving the dryer, the cold air is conveyed into the stainless-steel demister separator where the condensate is collected and discharged from the system. The treated air exits at a temperature close to the dew point.
MAXIMUM WORKING CONDITIONS
Data refer to the following nominal condition: ambient temperature + 25 °C; inlet air pressure 7 barg; inlet air temperature +35 °C; outlet air temperature +5 °C.
